Catch Waves as a Team

There’s a lot to be said about solitary surfing, the inner peace it brings and the addictive thrill of catching a wave. You know what’s better than that? Surfing with a bunch of your best mates. You can laugh at each other faceplanting straight into the water, you’ve got witnesses to that really awesome wave you totally caught (but there’s never anyone there to see it, right?) and it’s a great precursor to a drink or meal afterwards.

If you’re looking to treat your employees to some fun team building or your bride-to-be is more interested in getting in a wetsuit than a club, surfing is the perfect option for you. We give you all the equipment and guidance you need to have a great time.

What types of groups do you cater for?

We work with all kinds of groups — schools, youth clubs, TY programmes, birthday parties, sports teams, corporate outings, hens/stags, and community organisations. If you have a group looking for a fun, outdoor activity, we’ll build a session to suit.

How many people can you take in a group?

We can cater for small groups of 6–10 people right up to large groups of 40+. If your group is bigger than that, just let us know — we can split the session across multiple instructors or run staggered activities.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes. We provide reduced rates for schools, youth organisations, and large group bookings. Discounts vary depending on group size and the time of year — get in touch and we’ll send you a quick quote.

How long is a group surf session?

A standard group session is 2 hours, including getting suited up, safety briefing, warm-up, and time in the water. We can also create half-day or full-day programmes for schools or TY groups.

What does the group session include?

Just the basics:

  • Towels
  • Swimwear
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Warm layers for after the session

We provide everything else.

Is there parking for buses or large vehicles?

Yes. We’re located beside Tramore’s main beachfront car parks, which can accommodate coaches and minibuses. We’ll confirm the best drop-off point when you book.

How far in advance should we book?

For schools and summer groups, we recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance. For smaller casual groups, a week or two is usually fine — but during peak season, slots fill quickly.

Can we combine surfing with other activities?

Yes — we can help organise beach games, SUP sessions, or half-day/multi-day surf camps for schools and youth groups. Just ask and we’ll put options together.

Do you offer certificates or reports for school groups?

Yes. We can provide participation certificates and basic progress notes for TY or school activity weeks.
