Stag and Hens Parties
Before the biggest day of your life, enjoy the freedom of the newly popular surfing Stag/Hen parties! We cater for big and small Stag and Hen surf breaks, including surf weekends, one day courses and even private surf lessons. All in the party town of Tramore, Waterford.
So why not get your buddies into surfing? Tramore Surf School caters for many hen and stag parties every year at Tramore Bay. Tbay is a fun and safe place to learn to surf!
The lessons are 2 hours long and are held in waist deep water. All participants should be able to swim or at least be comfortable in the water. Maximum of 8 students per I.S.A. Beach Lifeguard Qualified Instructor. Changing facilities and toilets available. There are a maximum of 24 places available and we require a minimum of 4 people to run the surf session.
At any given time the lesson can be shorten or canceled for health and safety reasons. If you wish to cancel you need to give us at least a 24h notice by email.

Not at all — our public surf lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as those wishing to refresh their skills. Beginner sessions are held in waist-high water, ensuring a safe and comfortable learning experience.
Simply bring your swimwear, towel, and sunscreen. We provide the surfboard, wetsuit, and all necessary equipment.
Each session runs for about 2 hours, including on-the-beach instruction and plenty of time in the water. Lesson time also allows for changing into wetsuits and showering afterward.
Yes! Safety is our top priority. Our ISA-accredited instructors ensure expert guidance, supervision, and a safe learning environment, with beginner sessions conducted in waist-height water.
Class sizes may vary, but we maintain small groups to ensure individual attention and an enjoyable learning experience. In line with ISA guidelines, we follow a 1:8 instructor-to-student ratio.
