Your Surfing Journey Starts Here

We cater for all skill levels; whether you’re looking get some pointers to improve your own sessions or have never tried a wetsuit on before – we’re here to help. We offer one-to-one private lessons as well as public group lessons. We also provide guaranteed laughs with birthday surf parties, hen days out and stag tours. Our seasoned instructors are overflowing with school-friendly info on tides, sea-life and the Irish environs around the bay. Whatever you need, we’ve got it. We currently offer school holiday surf camps, weekend camps, school tours, one-off lessons, hen party surf days, stag surfing parties, corporate groups, club days out, family surf lessons and individual private surf lessons.

Learning to catch a wave has never been more safe – we always run to Irish Surfing Association standards. If you opt-in for a public lesson or large group lesson, there will be 8 students to every instructor. This means you’re safe, looked out for and get one-on-one attention and guidance from the instructor. All of our instructors are fully qualified Irish Surfing Association Surf Coaches. They have the patience of saints and years of experience, so if you’re finding it tricky at first or if you have a nervous dude/dudette in your group, don’t worry! We cater for all swimming abilities and all of our lessons are in waist-deep water. When you book a surf lesson with us, we provide all the equipment you’ll need. Bring swimwear for under the wetsuit and to don’t forget a towel for drying off afterwards.

At any given time the lesson can be shorten for health and safety reasons.

Do You Have a Question?

Here’s a quick run through of questions we get asked most. Have a question and can’t find an answer here? Give us a call on 051 391 011 and one of our friendly team members will help you.

What times do you run your lessons?

In our summer camps, it’s usually 10am and 12pm for kids and 2pm for public lessons. Booking is essential so please call ahead to secure your place. However, the majority of our lessons are subject to tide times and can vary day to day (you’ll want the raddest waves after all!) If you’re thinking of booking a particular day, we will let you know what time to arrive at during your booking.

How do I secure my place on a lesson?

Make sure your place is secure by giving us a call and leaving your credit/debit card details.

Do you have private changing rooms

We have a dedicated changing room located at the side of the surf school.

Do you give lessons in winter?

Yes! We are open all year round. Public lessons are limited during the colder months, however private lessons can be booked from 2pm.

Is there a minimum or maximum number for lessons?

Nope, turn up on your own or bring an entire school with you – we can accommodate everyone.

What equipment do you provide?

Winter and Summer O Neill wetsuits, if it’s cold you can rent gloves, hoods and booties. We only use 3 fin soft boards for our lessons, as these are better suited to newbies.

What if you don’t have my size?

We have wetsuits ranging from 8 year old kid suits up to 2xl wetsuits. We cover everything inbetween for both sexes – don’t worry, we can fit you into a wetsuit too!

I want to bring my own wetsuit, that ok?

Yep as long as its a winter weight.
